Ultimate Frisbee

      I am a huge fan of playing ultimate frisbee.  For those who do not know what ultimate frisbee is, it is a combination of soccer and football with a frisbee.   It starts by a member on the opposing team pitching the frisbee to you and your team.  Once you catch the diskyour legs cannot move, and you have to send the frisbee up the field to a fellow team member.  The other team can get the frisbee by intercepting it or if the disk lands on the ground.   There are end zones where you catch the frisbee in to score a point. It's like soccer because you are constantly running, and its like football since you score in an end zone.  

      I found a group of players online and met up with 10 guys for a game at the Presidio.  It is pretty interesting because how it works is that you sign up on a list serve and a guy named David is in charge of it.   He will email everyone a few hour before, asking if anyone is interested to play.  If enough people say yes then it is game on.  It was my first time at the Presidio; it is a huge park on the outskirts of San Francisco.  We played on a soccer field for about an hour.  It was a great time and I can't wait to play next week.
